"Two things stood out: 1) Chef Ali's attentiveness to my gluten allergy. I was treated to bespoke meals (especially desserts) as well as gluten-free options made available at request. 2) The joy of the staff as they did their job, especially their efforts to upgrade me to the finest property available as a solo traveler. "This was our trip to the Maldives and our first time at Lily's. Traveling during the low season helped us avoid the crowds and high prices. The Sunset water villa, which comes with a personal butler, is highly recommended. Our butler, Mussey, took care of all our needs. "Stayed here for 5 nights, we were welcomed by the manager and other staff on arrival - they helped us with everything from arranging speedboat transfers for arriving and leaving the island to booking excursions. The hotel and rooms were nice and modern and had everything we needed, the buffet breakfast was nice and had different choices each day. The location was perfect, a 5 min walk to a beautiful quiet bikini beach, we also had transport to take us to the sandbank at the bottom of the island....

"I stayed here for 4 days just after they reopened from the Pandemic 2020 nightmare we all experienced, so my experience is limited. However, the place is nice and very reasonably priced. It gives you an authentic experience of an out-island in the Maldives. The service by the staff, from Mr. Zala on down, was excellent and everyone was accommodating. "Perla is a beautiful hotel located on the Main Street of Dhangethi. The room was well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed the turtle tour. Breakfast was basic with limited choice. It was a sweet accomodating family run hotel. "

"Staff went over and beyond to make sure everything was good but to a point where it felt overboard. Room doors didn't shut properly and a lot of bugs were in the room, continually killing large ants that crawled on everything including in bed. "

"My friend and I had a very nice time during our stay at Endheri Sunset guest house. The staff were friendly and charming. The island was mostly very beautiful. The food plan we had while fairly basic, was mostly filling, tasty, and good. The diving was generally very good, and our guide Eaman was very professional. The snorkelling was good too although some of the surrounding reef was a bit sparse or dead in parts, I still spotted octopus, rays, small reef sharks etc. Just one word of caution,...

"Perfect little gem of a resort. Delicious food, with locally-sourced options at every meal (don't miss the fish tacos!). Warm and friendly personal service. Diving is exceptional - instructors are patient with beginners and offered bespoke itineraries for qualified divers. The house reef is lively and healthy, and for sites further afield the best dive boat this side of the Caribbean. Rooms are beautifully put together. Just lovely. "

"The resort is immaculate and the staff are incredible. super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The island is beautiful and lots of good snorkelling spots just off the beach. Rooms are immaculate, and if your lucky and leave the decking door open you may even get a wee visit from some of the local wildlife! In short could not recommend this resort highly enough, go and you will not regret it."

Pleasant Stay

"Overall was very good particularly the customer service was extremely good. Hotel management team was very present & approachable. However we were all expecting air conditioning throughout in the water villa especially it’s an enclosed bathroom. There was no AC nor fan in the bathroom and was recommended not to open the door in between the bedroom & bathroom which caused condensation. We tried but the heat/humidity made it hard to do whatever for a minute or 2 without sweating. This was very disappointing for 4.5* resort. Food was ok, plenty to choose from and will not go hungry. We were AI and drinks were included which were very good. The Chefs even provided us with custom made fish dishes which were very delicious. My friends did the fishing excursion but the Maldivian style was not for anyone but there weren’t any fishing rods as another option. We didn’t do any of the free excursions as weather wasn’t on our side. We stayed on the water villa and there were many fishes around for snorkeling but be aware that the bottom of the water was very rocky so water shoes are the must. Chanaka, the Guest Experience Manager was very helpful and made sure all guests enjoying their time on the island & leaving there with a big smile. It was a pleasant stay with few minor hiccups. Thank you for taking care of us. "
