"We had such an excellent stay! The cabin we stayed in was clean and cozy with a great view of the lake. It was close to the large hot tub and lake, so would be amazing in the summer for fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Theresa and John were super friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area. There was an old newspaper clipping posted in the cabin about the mill that we asked John about when we checked out. It turns out that his grandfather built the mill and the whole town! It was fun to hear about the history of the resort and area and I love to know that it is a multi-generational family owned and operated small business. I highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to return for a longer stay. "

"This place was wonderful. The restaurant is closed for the winter. The cabins are great but there is very little privacy. You can hear the person breathing in the next room."

"They were extremely accommodating in every way. I was needing a cabin that could serve for Thanksgiving dinner for my family who all came in from different states as my own house is under renovation right now and this get together was kind of unexpected. The staff was friendly and very helpful in executing this very complicated endeavor. They even provided extra chairs for everyone. "

"One of the greatest views in the Umpqua region with a very wide and lively stream at the backyard of the property. The sound of river can be heard in the cabin and, with no wifi or tv in the room, it is perfect place for digital detox (restaurant area has wifi). Food was pretty great (ravioli pasta is phenomenal). To our disappointment, the library was closed due to staff shortage. A bar is operation inside the library in normal times."

"Everything was so clean and easily accessible. The lady that checked me in, was friendly and helpful. The bed wasn't comfortable for me, but you can't please everyone with everything. Thank you for a great first experience. I will definitely be there again, the next time I will be in that area. "
