Great Stay
"We had a great stay here. I’m normally not one to take the time to leave reviews, but I have never stayed somewhere with such a genuinely friendly, accommodating staff. Hotel was also very clean and comfortable, easy E-bike ride to Old Bagan (which you can rent from the hotel for a reasonable price). ..."

From Bagan, go watch the balloons take off at sunrise! It’s beautiful! Be sure to tell your driver to take you to see the balloons in flight, not to watch the balloons take off - there is a big difference.

Nyaung-U is and feels like a small town. It is an excellent base to visit the many pagodas of Bagan. The balloon ride, while expensive, was a superb experience.
