"It was a fairly simple stay, with just the basics in the room. Since we live in Japan, were used to certain aspects of a hotel room here, such as a tea kettle and coffee, plus some cups - and we missed those things. On the other hand, it was great to sleep on a bed that was not as hard as most Japanese mattresses. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was definitely appreciated. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and it was a welcome treat to have them all speak English. Overall, the stay was nothing special, but it had everything we needed, and the location was excellent. I would likely stay here again."

"The pros. Easily accessible from bus stop. Traditional style sleeping arrangements and amenities. Which was what we were after. Morning breakfast which was included was awesome. Beautiful window view and location. Perfectly insulated- room had a heater . Cons. You hear everything in your rooms. Including conversations and foots steps. If you boarding or skiing the uphill trek will make you wish for Jesus, is a bit far. The overall experience was great and in all honestly you are far too tired to hear most things I just happen to be a light sleeper. I would compare to an expensive hostel. With adequate amenities and everything you need but the people make the experience a 10/10. If you chasing Luxury and comfort this may not be the place your after. "

"I stayed for one night to try snowboarding the next morning for the first time, I was very surprised by how helpful and friendly the staff was and there is a public bath at a walkable distance. The hotel is charming and retro, established in the 1970s and it has very lovely details in the decoration to enjoy "

"Friendly staff, we arrived very late on the first night, they arranged snow mobile to pick us from the carpark and checked us in quickly. The outdoor private hot tub is just what you need after a day of skiing! "

"Overall good business hotel. Public onsen right next to the hotel and Komeda cafe. Very good location. Also it is in front of station. "

"The rooms had a classic "Showa era" style, which gave them a great atmosphere, and were quite spacious for two people. The onsen was on the small side but clean and nice, with a pretty outdoor area. There was a lounge area with free drinks, nuts, and dried fruit. It was a decent value. I'd stay there again."
