We had a wonderful stay while visiting our family here in Northfield. Joan and Steve have such a charming home and we were delighted and grateful to wake up to an amazing breakfast. Joan was very nice and a pleasure to engage in conversation. She was kind enough to allow us to switch rooms at the very last moment. Her Victorian home is furnished in keeping with the period of the home and our room was clean and comfortable. Joan was a wonderful host and provided an absolutely fantastic breakfast in the morning! It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Quick Anniversary Trip
We were looking for a quick change of scenery to celebrate our anniversary. The location was far enough from home to feel like an adventure yet close enough to not spend valuable time driving. The home was well kept and the hostess pleasant. Previous reviews mentioned that she was well versed in the history of the area and able to provide recommendations for things to do. We did not have a lot of interaction and did not capitalize on this. Our room was incredibly comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The bed in particular was just to my liking with crisp sheets and moderately firm king mattress. The electric fireplace added to the ambience. The breakfast provided was three course including coffee, cider and water to fuel us for our day exploring. I am not generally into revisiting places as I feel there are too many places to explore, but I would consider revisiting Northfield and the Centennial House in the future.
