"The two most important things were that the bed was excellent and we were able to find a room in Mt. Shasta that didn't previously have pets in it. I had to call five hotels just to find a pet free room. The shower was less than stellar and I didn't use it. The front desk closes at 8:00 so we never saw a live person coming or leaving. "

"Our stay this year went off without a hitch. I received a call the day before our arrival to be notified that the Fifty44 restaurant was closed and that the heat in our designated room was out so they were moving us to another room. I appreciated the heads up for sure. It was a bummer the restaurant was closed because it is one of our favorites and we eat at least 2 meals there during our stay but, hopefully next year we can enjoy it again. The pool and hot tub were working which was great! ...

"My stay was end of December and it snowed. It looked like a winter wonderland. The room was clean and the decor modern. The main entrance and check in area has a large sitting area, fireplace and a cute boutique filled with fun items. But really it’s the surrounding nature that was pristine. The walk to feather river was easy to find despite the deep snow. The staff was warm and welcoming. Thank you."

"The hotel room was filthy. The smell of cigarette smoke was not bearable. The hotel was in poor repair. A disgusting place. We did not stay but booked a different hotel. I feel if a hotel was listed as smoke free, it should have been just that. I would like to receive a refund."

"This place was a big surprise. I loved it. The restaurant was really good, our room was lovely and spacious and the location was beautiful with a lovely garden and fountains. The bed was super comfortable. The rooms had a few problems. The bathroom sink had a little leak around it faucet and one of the bed lamps didn’t have a switch so I had to unscrew the bulb to turn it off. We did enjoy the breakfast and it didn’t stop until 10:30. My husband and I are not early birds so we really enjoyed...

Wonderful place to stay.

"This place was a big surprise. I loved it. The restaurant was really good, our room was lovely and spacious and the location was beautiful with a lovely garden and fountains. The bed was super comfortable. The rooms had a few problems.
