"Very convenient for our trip to the local hospital and very reasonable price including breakfast. A warm welcome at reception on check-in. Nice large room with comfortable big bed. You can open the windows to let in fresh air - not always possible these days at some hotels. We loved that it was over the pub/restaurant (a good menu plus specials and what we had was cooked really well) yet the pub couldn’t be heard from the room. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals etc and cooked options....

"It was our third visit to the Jolly Drover and we have always returned because the beds and bedding are so comfy and the accommodation is simple but well maintained. We have stayed in different rooms and this time were in room 6. Everything was fine until we got into bed. The mattress was so awful that you could feel the slats on the bed. "I would definitely recommend this hotel. We visited Stonehenge and wanted to also see Winchester cathedral, which was a 10min walk away. Parking was plentiful, yet £7.20 a night. Cheaper than most hotel car parks these days. Great service from all the staff. Check in, spa, the bar and housekeeping. Room was clean, modern and the bed very comfortable.
