"This bed and breakfast was newly updated, very comfortable, had an extremely attentive staff, and a delicious breakfast. The only reason we can't give it 5 stars is due to the noise level. The walls and floors are very thin and if you are unlucky enough to have active neighbors, it will ruin your stay. We were up till 4:30am while the wedding party goers were stomping around above us. I can't blame the property owners or staff...it's not really their fault and this is what you sign up for in...

"Quick weekend stay in Newport with the pups. Great location and overall experience. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone traveling with pets. One complaint would be that you can hear any movement in the rooms above you. We had someone who seemed to be doing laps in their room at 3am, so they was a bit frustrating."

The location was excellent, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Only negative was that we couldn't stay longer. "It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
