"We stayed here to get away from the nearby evacuation zone during the Los Angeles fires recently. It was good but the room was not fancy. The breakfast was good quality and fresh and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and kind. The only (very minor) issue we had was that the listing said they had a gym and they do not so I was not able to jog. That’s such a small issue in the scheme of things though. "We stayed overnight during our visit to universal, it was very close to the park. Reading some of the reviews that says the area was sketchy I was little concerned but I would say there was nothing sketchy about the area, it is a typical LA neighborhood. Breakfast was good. Parking was very convenient for a reasonable $10 fee. Overall we were happy with our stay as a family of 4. "
