So, I first want to mention, this place was on the cheaper side, so my expectations weren’t extremely high. I appreciated the price. The bathroom smelled weird, refrigerator didn’t work, and the remote battery compartment broken. If you decide to stay here, just know, you’ll be getting what you pay for. If you are easily startled by homeless people, you shouldn’t stay here. All that being said, it wasn’t the nicest or cleanest, but I enjoyed my stay for what it was.

the only thing I didn't love is slow service at the bar and the card system for the elevators was often malfunctioning and I needed assistance

This is a beautiful old building. It was one of the first generating stations in Germany. You can have guided tours and once a year it hosts a classic music festival. It's located at the end of the 'Hengebachstraße'. You can drive past it end then up the hill towards the Landal Park
