"It carried the basics, good bed and clean room. Breakfast was less then desirable - dry cereal, toast and coffee. Door lock stuck in the open position and was only able to be moved with use of the key card. Upon return to room, this issue appeared fixed. Room seemed dark, lack of lighting, but warm. "La Residence is a sweet, older hotel. If you're seeking a modern boujee experience, this isn't it. It's a simple place with antique charm. I enjoyed it very much! Comes with a fully stocked kitchen which was a nice surprise. Staff were kind and courteous. Everything was very clean. Continental breakfast was simple but thoughtful."
