"Amazing hotel with spectacular views. Service was first class by staff who always had a smile. One of the owners, Ted Stourton always seemed to be around checking that everything was ok, even at dinner moving from table to table, engaging with guests. Food was superb although menu was small. Will be returning in the near future."

The cafe served excellent food and was reasonably priced but we felt that the restaurant menu wasn't particularly good. The view from our room was superb & the champagne breakfast delivered to our room was a real delight. We enjoyed our stay immensely & would certainly go again but will give the restaurant a miss next time. "

"We stayed in Union House - no. 3, the Superior Cottage. This is a well-appointed, 2 double bedroom place in the heart of St Columb Major. Just seconds from the Co-op, pubs and village shops, it’s also a great location from which to explore the beautiful surrounding Cornish area. Around 15 mins from Mawgan Porth, Bedruthan Steps and lots of other local spots not to be missed. What we liked: good facilities, well-equipped kitchen; nice living space downstairs and both bedrooms are a good size...
