"There are parts of the hotel that are a little tired and in need of renovation. My room had a faucet that fell off - many paint dings and old materials..... BUT it was spotlessly clean - the staff were wonderful, the place has tons of old school charm (a renovation would need to keep the period character) and the location wonderful. Really enjoyed my stay."

"The air conditioning in our room did not work, and it took almost two hours for them to send engineers and ultimately move us that took away from our quiet time in the afternoon, which was not fair. We wanted to take a nap and rest up before a party on Halloween. We did not get to do that."

"I arrived early and the staff made an effort to get the room ready earlier in the check-in time. I appreciate it the cleanliness and location. I think the room size is fine for one to two people, there’s not enough a lot of room to walk around or extra sitting space but it’s sufficient."
