"room even had a dishwasher though it did not have a water connection or power plug in the rest was very clean well tended literally felt like it was my own little apartment. staff was very helpful when needed but wasnt really around much . "

"Did not know what to expect but it was quite friendly, clean, fresh. Room was small but everything needed was available. Bath was clean to. If weather was warmer can sit outside on balcony & hear some island music playing and can see some of Lake Norman. The lake side was quite enjoyable & we would definitely stay again. Just be aware, let them know if will arrive after 5pm. "

"Beautiful place inside and out. Convenient to downtown, many restaurants and entertainment. The Couple who own the place are very friendly and helpful. They offer excellent food for breakfast and daytime snacks. Best place for a weekend getaway in Newton NC"
