Early in the morning the Dory fleet comes back to the Newport Pier with their catches of the morning, so if you want fresh fish or crab...show up with cash.

22nd street (Newport Pier) is a great place to swim, body surf and surf with sandy beach for miles in north and south directions. Lots of shops to gift shop at and many good eateries.
