"It’s a nice hotel, pool and bar up on the roof area, ground floor has a dining area and bar. The room was spacious had a queen bed and a bunk bed. It’s got a unique vibe, staff is friendly. Close to multiple night clubs on either side, surprisingly the noise isn’t too much to deal with. The lobby has a kind of sewage smell, not sure if there is much the hotel can do about that. "

"Lisbon was our last stop after being in Portugal for 10 days. Although our stay at Esqina was fine, it was not as cozy as I was hoping it would be. I can't ding them on ratings, and I haven't stayed in other hotels in Lisbon, but it didn't feel like a 4 star hotel based on other places I've stayed in Europe. The bathroom was tiny and the lighting was odd. It felt more like a basic travel lodge, versus a cosmopolitan hotel. With that said, the location was great, breakfast was good. "

"The location is very convenient, lots food choices around the area, easy to go anywhere you want to. The only negative is when we checked in, they said the local charge has been increased double amount but without informing us before, as well as they didn't charged new price to every one exapted us. It makes us feel not feel comfortable at all.. The front desk people not very friendly, feel a little disappointed."

"The hotel is very central on the Rua Augusta which is what we wanted. It’s on a pedestrianised street full of shops, restaurants and bakeries. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Arco da Rua Augusta and Praça do Comercio. Easy to catch a tram to Belem Tower and Jeroniomos Monastery. We walked to all other tourist attractions in about 30 mins , but we like that. Excellent little hotel!! "

"The hotel location is great and closed to metro/tram/bus. The receptionist and the staffs served for breakfast are great. The only thing is that the staffs cleaning my room either forgot to place replacement hand towels or water sometimes since I stayed for couple days. Small things here and there. Nothing major. "I checked in on my 40th birthday and the front desk had upgraded my room without even requesting. We went out for dinner and the room was decorated with local bottle of bubbles, cake, chocolates and lavender pouches. Really made my day special! The indoor pool is nice with warm water! "
