"Breakfast is fabulous."

"Our three night stay was a highlight of our three week Japan visit. The staff was so kind and so friendly. Especially Iyaka and Ling. Our room was large and the western beds were comfortable. The shuttle bus was very convenient running from the Kiso train station to the property. The meals were delicious. This was our first stay at a ryokan. The food was served with an explanation and instructions on how to handle the hot pots and mini table grill. We enjoyed wearing our cotton yukatas and...

"Actually good value if you accept the tatami style bedding. Only problem is that going out of the room to the shared toilets and showers can be freezing as the common areas are not yeated. Hotel looks old. But it was in the centre of Ina, and had good free parking. Room we got for 5 pax was relatively cheap."

"Excellent location overlooking the lake. The food at the hotel is authentic. There is also the possibility to rent bikes directly at the hotel. Very polite staff."

"Owner was very kind and prepared very good dinner even we requested in very late time. It is Japanese style room, so if you are not used to futon it might be hard. Room is very spacious and confortable. Shower is in common place, next to onsen. It is also convenient that there is also an small drugstore to buy some snacks or drinks"
