5/5 - Excellent
Kichijoji now has many duty free shops. Great walkable town with many options for dining and shopping. There are many ramen shops.

Room was new and clean. I watched a movie in the same building toho Shinjuku. Convenient to JR yet price is reasonable. I would stay again. Cons: TV has no Netflix or YouTube app. The area is a little chaotic but there is a lot of food choices.

We were so happy we chose to stay in shinjuku at the start of our trip! Walkable to the train station and the convenience of having a family mart right on the first floor was so convenient! The rooms were a bit tight but to be expected! We have some of the best memories in this area of our trip. ...

Great location. Across from train station. So much to do at hotel. Only issue was we thought we had paid for breakfast. Ended up being over $50 a day fo two people. Recommend checking in advance

Wonderful jazz clubs and fun restaurants--fun neighborhood!
It is much quiet than the centeral part of Tokyo, but Kichijoji has lots of small restaurants and shops, reasonable, unique, and enjoyable to visit.
Nice city. Big city but lot of parks and natures still there. I like Musashino.
The park is beautiful and peaceful. Great area to spend a week exploring.
