Kichijoji now has many duty free shops. Great walkable town with many options for dining and shopping. There are many ramen shops.

The room was pretty modern and clean. It had everything that I needed for the night. The hotel has machines for auto checkin and checkout - so whilst I had the option to speak to staff, I didn't need to. Convenience store right by the entrance, with everything you could need. Rude staff, hotel did not feel clean, Godzilla head terrace was closed. The rooms felt neglected and hot. Pictures online did not match the reality of the room you would be getting. It is much quiet than the centeral part of Tokyo, but Kichijoji has lots of small restaurants and shops, reasonable, unique, and enjoyable to visit.
Nice city. Big city but lot of parks and natures still there. I like Musashino.
The park is beautiful and peaceful. Great area to spend a week exploring.
