「Lovely location. Good parking for car. Big house near farms. Host welcoming. The breakfast was good and room very comfortable. The only downside was the smell of damp dog that permeated throughout the house. We kept the bedroom windows opened all the time. 」

「It was clean and tidy to expectations for pub accommodation. Large freshly carpeted room. Bathroom recently renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The burgers were as advertised one of the best I've had. The village is delightful.」

「Spent a pleasant night with my wife at The Talbot Hotel and we were well looked after by Craig and his colleagues. The hotel dates back to the 1600s and is very atmospheric and full of history. Although no evening meal was available the full English breakfast in the morning was excellent. Would stay again.」

「Really nice room with a glass roof, so perfect to look at the stars and had fun deciphering cloud shapes with my daughter. Only small grumble is there is not a mirror in the room to do hair and make up, only 1 in the bathroom which is not appropriate. Other than this, we had a nice stay」
