What a beautiful place. The cabins were awesome. A very nice and updated hotel room (great bathrooms and very comfortable beds) in an Alaska feel cabin and cool resort atmosphere. We loved kayaking the lake, played a little cornhole and horse shoes and had an overall marvelous stay.
Very close to great fishing spots.
The restaurant was great and by far the best hotel included breakfast I’ve ever had.
Highly recommend!

The cabin we stayed in was the best accommodations we had on our whole trip to Alaska. Highly recommend!!!
We had an exceptional four night stay in a lakefront cabin. The staff help was excellent, the facilities immaculate and very well decorated, and the food, especially the dining options and the chef, outstanding. We would stay there again without any doubt. This family run operation is staffed by very friendly and helpful staff from all over the world during the summer. If you’re looking for a high quality, relaxing, out of the way stay without the crowds of an Alaskan summer, this lodging is highly recommended.
Amazing Property, we will definitely make plans to stay again at this adorable cabin. The food at the Lodge was amazing, but the Carrot Cake was the icing on the cake! Best Carrot Cake Ever!
The cabins were very nice and updated with beautiful furnishings and fixtures.
Restaurant served good food and snack shop had good service.
Lake was beautiful and quiet.
No cell service, no internet in cabins, but available (albeit hit and miss connectivity) in the lobby only. If you are checking on work issues or trying to send pictures of your lovely vacation, you'll have to postpone until you have connectivity in Seward or Anchorage.
Fantastic place. I loved it. Staff was super nice. I would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to go back home. Went to their restaurant twice at night. Absolutely delicious. Best meal of my whole stay in Alaska (over 2 weeks)
This lodge is wonderful! The family that runs it is very helpful and gave us several good recommendations for activities in the area. They genuinely seemed to want us to have an enjoyable stay. The staff was very kind. The room was very clean, designed nicely, and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was more like a restaurant experience. The setting is beautiful; we appreciated the complimentary kayaks and paddle boards for the lake. We would definitely stay here again!
Not a lot options where we were staying. Hotel is nice but way overpriced for what you get. One thing that really bothered me was that breakfast was included but only from 8 to 10. Which is ridiculous bc any hotel would at least start breakfast at 6. Most people who stay there are there for fishing trips which you have to get up real quick early for. I asked management for a credit and they refused. Just not accommodating in the end
Loved this place! Lake view cabin was awesome, staff is great, complimentary cooked to order breakfast is good. Restaurant for evening meal was very good. Location is centrally located for so much of the Kenai peninsula. Would love to come back!!!!!!!!!!! No question as to where we would stay!
We really enjoyed our 3-night stay with Summit Lake Lodge. The owners/family, Marty, June, Brandon & Lyndsey made us fill so much like we were at home away from home. Great breakfast, atmosphere and above all terrific customer service from all employees/staff. We highly recommend this Lodge to anyone traveling in Alaska!
My family and I stayed at the lodge for two nights and it was so beautiful and comfortable. The location is wonderful, peaceful, we did some fishing off of the lake. We took advantage of the kayaks they offer and it was just spectacular views. We are family of six we stayed in the lodge that had the three individual rooms looks like a cabin, the beds were incredibly comfortable. all the rooms had coffee, machines, microwave, and fridge. The property is absolutely beautiful and enjoyable. I wish we had stayed there even longer because we enjoyed it so much. Breakfast was fantastic and included and there’s a restaurant on site for dinner and a deli to get sandwiches and pizza in the middle of the day.
This lodge was a perfect location for everything we planned to do while on the Kenai Peninsula. It had amazing lake and mountain views and was very well maintained and clean. The restaurant had great food and service. I highly recommend this property.
