It was a good choice for the budget and we only needed one night for access to Black Canyon. The lower marks are only because the property is clearly being renovated but it's not there yet. The parking lot was being dug up. Room itself was super clean but hiccups with handicapped shower (we are not handicapped, but the shower had these amenities which had to be worked around.) All communications were through text messages. Checked in via a lockbox with room key. Communication worked, but it was a little surreal. I also got the impression it was walkable to main downtown area, but was much further than anticipated. Breakfast provided was packaged pop-tarts and muffins, again I assume because it is being renovated. I have no complaints, however, and would recommend it for passing through, but maybe not an extended stay until they have it completed.

This Is a good place to stay. It was renovated. The room is small but very clean and comfortable. The staff is a kind and helpful. We enjoyed the stay.

First, let me say the front desk employee was excellent. She apologized numerous times for the condition of the property and the resulting insufficient parking. The rooms themselves were very clean and the property offered grab and go snacks for breakfast. HOWEVER, the deferred maintenance on the property and the resulting deterioration are why I advise skipping this motel. I was so glad to get out of there in the morning

Really nice old-timey motel with pleasant staff who properly greet you on arrival. They had a common sitting area with a picnic table and fire pit that was perfect for relaxing. The rooms are all updated so things like power and usb ports are where you want them.

Went on a 2 week motorcycle trip so we stayed at different places every night in 9 different states. This was our favorite place we stayed. Very friendly, clean and comfortable room. The shower was the best one we had on our trip. Would definitely recommend!

Place looked filthy and was dirty inside and out. There were underwear and socks still in the room when we arrived. I’m not sure the bathroom had ever been cleaned. Check in clerk was not friendly and didn’t seem to care much at all.

The place was recently remodeled and they did a really good job on it. Ther room was super clean. Everything was new.While we really enjoyed the sqeaky bed our neighbor was not amused. (The hotel is working on replacing the bed frames.) The rooms are small but they make up for it with great customer service and cleanliness. Can't beat it for the price.
