"Gorgeous landscaping amid twisting, spanish moss dripping live osks, the Effie was outstandibgly welcoming. The staff was remarkably friendly and aimed to please in every situation from arrival each time we left the sight to our final departure, we felt like family. The Baytown Wharf had much to offer from live music to a plethora of restaurant chouces and shopping just a short walk from Effie Hotel. The shuttle service to and from the beach was fantastic as no long waits were necessary. Golf and bike riding were pluses enjoyed by our teens as well as the rooftop pool. Though we didn't dine at the Effie, the restaurant was very inviting with live flowers on the tables, entryway of the hotel, and in the lobby. We WILL return. "

"One of the sliding closet doors in the hallway was off the track, and the other one fell off and caused some of the wood wallets to come out. It was ok, but worrisome . I didn’t want the owners to think we did that. "
