"We loved our stay at Dakak resort. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The property was picked up daily, there was always someone available. The grounds show the wear of life on islands with driving wind and rain and mountainous terrain. There was a couple of buildings closed and the walkway along the coast was closed, but there was always signs of revitalization and overcoming natures assault. "It's a clean modern hotel with no complaints about the facility or staff. I wanted a hotel close to the airport with a good bed and shower at a reasonable price. This property fulfilled all requirements and then some. Despite being close to the elevator the room had enough sound insulation that it wasn't a problem including the talking of other guests. The only issue has nothing to do with the property, but something to be aware of. The local tricycle drivers are charging foreigners outrageous (for the Philippines) prices for short trips. Like I can get a bus ticket to halfway across the island prices."
