Hotel Catedral

4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (1705)
"The hotel is only a half-block from Zocalo. The pyramid part is built over the original Tenochtitlan pyramid with glass floor so it can be seen. The hotel has fruit, potato chips, and cookies out on counters, free for the taking. They also have free water bottles on the lobby. The hotel also has a restaurant with very reasonable prices and good food. The only small problem is that most at the front desk don't speak English."

Sheets were clean but don’t expect much more than that. The food… well, the service was subpar. The food was subpar. The service by the male workers was fine, but the female hostess was no where near genuinely caring or considerate. The food was bland, over cooked and there was no variety. Truly had...

"Hotel is beautiful, clean and located close to many historic, dining and shopping places. It is walking distance to the Zocalo, Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Metropolitan Cathedral. There are different types of transportation close to the hotel, like the subway, city bus or taxi to get around if you prefer. All the staff members were friendly, nice and helpful, some staff members are bilingual. Any questions that I had were answered. The reception area/lobby was staffed 24/7. The door men...
