Wivenhoe House Hotel
5/5 Excellent
A hotel of the highest class.
"Everything about this hotel is excellent. The staff are super friendly and helpful whether they’re on reception, the room cleaners, or brassiere staff. Comfortable beds and great views across the hotel grounds. My only tiny gripe was at breakfast when, even though the menu says that cooked breakfast is cooked to order unless it is particularly busy ( which it wasn’t when I was there as there were only about 8 people having breakfast), the bacon had obviously been pre-cooked and stood under a hot lamp for too long so that it was hard and rubbery. A shame as it was top class bacon. That aside, everything else was just about perfect. "
