(I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. "This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk. Beautiful getaway

"We had a wonderful one night stay in this beautiful chateaux after finishing up our cruise. The romantic room was gorgeous! Very comfortable bed, beautiful river view. I wish the menu had been bigger but the food was very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Pascale, the owner, was incredibly helpful and friendly. She helped with dinner reservations and information about the area. Breakfast was made to order in a darling dining room. The entire property was charming nestled next to a vineyard. On-site parking and a lovely garden were a bonus. I would highly recommend staying here if you are interested in the Medoc area, "

Great hotel, great staff and own winery near.

"Great stay. Recommend this hotel if you are traveling to the left bank. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great breakfast in a beautiful room. They also own the winery down the road 3 meters and can arrange a 35 euro tour and wine tasting. Pierre was our guide and gave us a fantastic tour. "

"Very luxurious stay. Incredible room - beautiful finishings and a view overlooking the lovely courtyard. The setting is lovely with a vineyard on site with a terrace. The staff were really friendly. The restaurant in Bages was a 5 minute walk and was lovely also although unless you have a car (or arrange a taxi which can be quite expensive we foune) there are not so many options around other than that but the hotel itself is nice enough to want to stay! "

"Chateau Pierre de Montignacer is a lovely place, highly recommended! Marie and Romain are lovely and friendly people who put the well-being of their guests first - great level of service. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Beautiful surroundings, healthy and delicious breakfast, - and not least wonderful wines. Wine tasting tour is a good experience. A place you want to return to."

Amazing New Place in St-Estephe

"WOW! This is an amazing new place in St-Estephe and it is wonderful. Careful attention to every detail. Beautifully designed. Comfortable rooms with a/c. Awesome table d'hote. But the best part is the owners! They are truly wonderful people and it was a joy to get to know them. Can't wait to come back!!!! "
