"Fantastic expression of the Mayan culture and so many interesting amenities. Excellent staff and very helpful. Food was great and the garden and view was sensational. Loved the magazines about Mayan culture and Tikal in the dining area. They were wonderful about helping to arrange my travel as well. Thank you! "

"Hice mi reserva y pago por medio de la pagina. Cuando llegue al hotel, me indicaron que no trabajaban con niguna pagina se hoteles y que no tenian mi reserva. Al contactarme con Hotels.com para conentarle el caso me indican que no se pudieron contactar con el establecimiento por lo que no me podian hacer un reembolso. He usado muchas veces Hotels.com y es la primera vez que me pasa esto, lamentablemente una lección de $100 :("

"The location is good (on the island) and the staff were friendly. The free coffee and bread rolls was nice, in the absence of breakfast being available. The room was a bit dark, as the advertised balcony isn't really a balcony but a small enclosed room attached to the room. The terrace is nice but there is no bar service (although the minibar is well priced). The staff were friendly but not very forthcoming with information unless asked. For example, I only found out about the swimming pool...
