Quaint Lakeview Property
This place was cute and clean. We had a great time in Munising and it's minutes away from beach spots and the local downtown area. The back porch style balcony was great to sit out and look at the water. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Older hotel but ground level with Lake Superior. You can walk out the back door of your hotel room and you’re steps away from the lake.

We had several problems with our room. The room had two dining chairs, but no comfortable chairs for relaxing. The doorknob had a simple lock with no deadbolt, not secure. Weird thing was the patio door had a deadbolt. Our shower head had a crack and before we realized it water had sprayed over the shower curtain and completely soaked the entire bathroom. My husband went to the office to let them know and get towels because all the ones we had got soaked. The maid came up, handed me new towels, took the old towels, but didn’t clean up the rest of the water, so I had to use a new towel to do that. Someone came and put on a new shower head which didn’t leak, but also had very little pressure. The worst thing was our last night. In the wee hours I woke up to a loud vibration sound. I thought my husband had left the bathroom fan on, because it was very loud, but it was off. My husband said the noise started around 1:00am. We decided the room below us had left their fan on because the floor of our bathroom was vibrating from the noise. We got little sleep due to the noise. The person at the desk apologized in the most unsympathetic tone of voice. She said she couldn’t help that they left it on. I replied that if the fan worked properly, it wouldn’t have kept us awake. She said we’ll take care of it. That was our last night, so I have no idea if they will fix it or not. I requested a call from the manager in an email, but still heard back. Great location and comfortable bed

Will stay again!
This is a great motel with wonderful views of the bay. Plus they have grills and seating outside to enjoy. It is an older property that could use a few updates but the staff was wonderful and room was clean. My only complaint would be the bed had indentions in the mattress where people lay (maybe the memory foam) and there is not a comfortable chair to sit in but we weren't there much. Overall, great stay!

It’s just okay, a place to sleep with a great view
If you are used to the amenities at normal Hotel chains then skip this place and go next door or the holiday inn. If you want to save $50 night , stay here at the budget motel with a view. Pro’s : - The View - The bed firmness - Bedding and towels were clean - the staff was polite and friendly - I was able to save money on the stay to spend it on other purchases in town. - bathroom sink newer - Breakfast didn’t make me sick. Was limited options and was thankful for something. - Great people watching entertainment Cons: - There is no Beach ( just fenced off large rocks) - Stains on multiple places ( most likely from the allowed pets) - Room very run down - Toliet seat was a dance party - Shower water pressure was a pressure washer - All door locks were sketchy. ( Good thing crime was not high on my concerns in this area) - Breakfast is more of a snack until you eat somewhere else. ( was better than nothing) - no enforcement of, motel guest, barking dogs at night. - Bathroom fan vents back into room 🙄😕

Things need to be updated, carpet on outside hall has worn and rips that could eventually trip someone. Room below had loud exhaust in bathroom, rattling our floor. Lack of hot shower, they were warm not hot, and our toilet was loud when flushed. The motel is a great .location with large rooms that each look o to the bay. Parking was the last thing that needs update, once the outside spots were filled it was a mass free for all of cars in the middle where no lines existed.
