"We were in town as I had surgery and needed a follow up the next day, so decided to stay in town. The gentleman who checked us in was amazing! He was so curtious and let us check in early because I just had surgery. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast had hot and cold options. Hotel is a little worn, but nothing that affected our stay. Lots of good places to eat and shop close by! Would definitely stay there again."

"The Celeste is a beautiful old old place with lots of charm. The renovation was a successful one, offering modern bathrooms, fireplaces, wifi, and televisions didn't interfere with the history and aura of the building. We felt comfortable and safe. The staff was pleasant and courteous. When we shared a couple minor issues with our room (lightbulbs burnt out and a wall hook pulled loose), the front desk host assured us they'd be remedied for the next guest. The religious decor was a respectful and at times playful nod to the building's past as a convent, it didn't feel forced and was so much more interesting than the same old mass produced abstract and landscape prints. Was very nice (less stressful) to park once and walk to the Xcel Center and dinner. I'd happily stay again."

"Quiet area, staff was amazing! The rooms and bathrooms are a little bit out dated but, it was still a great experience while we were traveling and I would stay again. "

"I would definitely stay here again. I chose this hotel partly because it’s easy walking distance to The Palace. The room was decently sized, the bed was very comfortable and we slept great, loved the high ceilings and giant windows. It was also pretty quiet. I did not have the breakfast they offered but my friends did and said it was good. "

"We loved our room with the hot tub and fireplace. A short walk to downtown and the wedding venue we attended was very convenient. We also loved the view of the river from our room. Some of the shades didn't work so it was quite bright from the outside lights for sleeping. "

"Very clean modern hotel. Check in was a breeze. Enjoyed a conversation with Joseph while checking me in. Joseph was very personable and welcoming, especially after a long two-day drive. Would def stay again when in Minneapolis "
