"I recently stayed at The Pines Melaka for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive to and from Jonker Street, making it easy to explore the area. We stayed on the 27th floor, and our room offered a beautiful view. However, we were woken up at 5/6 am each morning by the loud chanting from the nearby mosque, which was quite disruptive. The bathroom in our room was very spacious and included a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Although the room was decent, it wasn't...

"Good hotel and good service. In fact we proved that by choosing to extend our 2-day stay. The only (and most important) thing that let the hotel down was its Wi-Fi. It was slow and intermittent. Eventually we asked whether we could have a wired connection. Initially they said that they only had Wi-Fi, but when we complained again, all of a sudden this was possible. With a wired connection, there were no further issues. Good fast Wi-Fi is not a luxury to a lot of people, it's a necessity. "
