Shopping is not our thing, so it was too commercial and built-up for our taste.

Cannot use GPS to get to hotel. Have to violate a lot of sign directions to get to hotel. Had to ask several people and cops to find hotel.

Gasthof Gramshammer is located on the pedestrian mall, but is accessible by car and offers limited on-site parking or access to the Vail shuttle from the community parking. Although geared towards skiing, there are shops and dining, and an exceptional at atmosphere for year-round visits.

Loved the pay once per day and park where ever we needed. The gondola was such a WONDERFUL option...and free,
