"This place is a gem and we will certainly stay there in the future. When we arrived the room was warm and there was a bucket of ice in the mini-fridge. This is not a large chain location. Many small touches from rolled towels to hand soaps, to a small rubber ducky on the bathroom towel set make this a comfortable place. I was able to park my my truck up right in front of the room door. I was unsure of our stay since the price point was excellent. I can see now that this establishment likely makes good money on tips. The only review deficiency I made was in comfort by one star due to the mattresses being softer than I like. That is a minimal thing that some would differ in opinion. The overall stay was excellent and superior to the $400/night resort down the street."

"Our room was nice and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly. We were pulling an enclosed trailer and they made sure we had somewhere safe to park it. They even let us keep it there after we checked out of our room. Very friendly people/staff."

"It was a delightful stay! The room was clean with snow white sheets and towels, comfortable bed, and an abundance of fluffy pillows. We had a creekside room and it was so private and peaceful. Wonderful to enjoy your morning coffee in the rocking chairs there with the sound of rushing waters and the feeling of being in the woods. We did not use the indoor pool but it looked clean. I missed breakfast but my husband said they had a decent selection. In room coffee was good, which is a rare occurence for me. We had planned on doing a lot but we ended up staying at the room most of the time because of the atmosphere. It is an older property, so if things like a few paint chips, older tub and toilet, and a broken but operable balcony door latch bother you, go elsewhere. But if you want a relaxing stay at a great price, by all means stay here. I know we plan on coming back!"
