"We really enjoyed our stay here at the castle. The amenities were wonderful, the room was very comfortable, and all the facilities at this location were wonderful. We also enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee at the basement café. We did want to mention to the maintenance crew that the armoire in our room, where the robes were stored, had a very strong smell of spray paint. "Central location. Receptionists excellent and very good when asked for anything. Room quite tight and difficult to negotiate movement without hitting your head due to the slanting original ceiling on the second floor. The overall ambiance in the main building is impressive but there is no extras like a gym, sauna, pool , etc . It’s simply the room that you’re paying for, breakfast ( continental) at €45 is extra and the restaurant is open on Saturdays for evening meals only . "
