"This place was cool. I’d stay there if you’re going ski for sure. It’s close to Lutsen. It’s probably a 10 min drive. Views are out of this world and hot tub is warm after a hard day of leaving it on the mountain. The place is better than any thing has to offer. The hospitality was great also. The Lady at counter deserves a raise. She’s on her a game for service too. "

"This is a nice place to stay for a comfortable bed and a several choices for breakfast. The pool and hot tub area is nice. The pool room needs more ventilation for chlorine smell so might be a problem if you are sensitive to fumes."

"It is a perfect escape and pivot point between Grand Marais and Lutsen skiing. Only used the sauna once, but it was a great amenity. Kitchen fully fitted out for making meals. Decor was just right."

"My husband and I loved how close we were to Lutsen Mountain. We could drop our sons off to ski and then hang out in our room until they were ready to be picked up. Also, we could walk across the road to eat at a restaurant. Very nice, clean rooms. We would definitely stay here again."

"I was looking for an affordable motel in Grand Marais and the Aspen Inn met my needs perfectly. The room offered a HDTV with access to Direct TV, Tubi, and other streaming providers, a decent sized fridge, a comfortable king sized bed, and a table and chairs for dining. The motel included continental breakfast with Kureg coffee abd tea, cereal, yogurt, bagels, etc. The next time I am looking for a place to stay in Grand Marais, I will look for a room at the Aspen Inn first."
