"This is a very large apartment in a 500 year old well maintained building. It is in the beautiful historic area. Do be aware that this is a VERY hilly area and you will have to walk up and down steep streets everywhere you go. That includes from the parking area. Cars are restricted from the area around the apartment without a permit. "

"Communication with owner excellent. Was able to drop bags at unit and then park car in space provided by hotel about a 10 minute walk down or up depending on direction. "This is a beautiful location and the facilities are stunning. Really everything is picture perfect and you are only 20 minutes from Montepulciano and 30 minutes from Pienza. "Really comfortable hotel , only stayed one night . A great nights sleep . All the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and could not do enough for us. Breakfast selection was in abundance but unfortunately the quality of the food was not great . Maybe less selection with better quality ingredients would be an option for improvement , but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for a short stay. "

"My favorite stay on our honeymoon in Italy! They even gave us with a free upgrade to a suite. I loved this hotel and only regret that we didn’t stay longer. The whole property was gorgeous and I loved hearing nothing but nature during the day. Their breakfast buffet was pretty great too. Would love to come in the summer so I could enjoy the pool but walking through their olive groves was lovely still. They have a lot of outdoor seating that would make a perfect spot to read a book. We ate at their restaurant for dinner and it was delicious! It is about a 15 minute car ride from the city center though so I wouldn’t recommend walking there (unless you are fine with a 35-40 min walk but there is a bus stop a 4 minute walk away from the hotel that’s convenient if you want to make a trip into town if you don’t have a car. I did pick this hotel though because I wanted a little getaway from the town center but not too far and this was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. Would definitely love to visit again and would recommend to anyone visiting Siena! "

"Staff was very proficient in English for the most part, with excellent communication and professional in service through and through. Restaurant on site was elegant with good variety of menu items, though a little pricey as expected. Quality of food was above average but not excellent as expected. Drive to this monastery was fairly easy with surrounding village somewhat accommodating in amenities and conveniences. Keep in mind you would need a car throughout your stay here. Siena is 10 minutes away by car, a must see for at least one day. "
