"This hotel was perfect for our stay. If you’re used to chain hotels this place is not for you. The building is old, historical, the architecture is beautiful. It’s one block from Bourbon St. all the shopping and dining you need. It’s a perfect location if you don’t mind walking and enjoying the history and architecture. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Room was perfect for our needs. We were there to explore and not stay in the room. Bed was comfortable and firm. We will definitely stay there again. "

"Overall the accommodation was fantastic. Staff overall were good. We only had one poor experience with a staff member at night serving me at the front counter but she continued to talk on a personal call. My travelling buddy had the same experience when she went to the counter a few hours later."
