"I couldn't have been happier with this resort! We were a party of three in a "friends and family" room (with a king bed, queen bed, and sofa bed). This was plenty of room for us. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too rigid. The value for the room was excellent considering this was an all-inclusive resort. "This is a very big hotel right on the Pacific Ocean on a beautiful beach but because of the rip ride it is dangerous and you have to sign a waiver so they let you get into the water. "This is our second time at this resort. Unfortunately, they lacked activities throughout our stay. New Year's entertainment ended at 9pm. I remember them having dance competitions during lunch and themed dinner parties with music. There is no mini bar in rooms and all food/drink service ends at 10pm. The room was super clean and comfortable with a great view. Unfortunately it lacked some amenities that I've recieved at other resorts that I would love for Solmar to offer."

"The property had amazing restaurants and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The view from our room was beautiful and faced the ocean where we could see the yachts daily including the cruise ships. They do fireworks nightly Thursday-Sunday.
