"There was a door that did not have a lock on it on our side and there were people on the other side of that door that could have opened the door and could come into our accommodations. Felt unsafe!! There was also significant holes in the floor and loose floorboards. "

"Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long. But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean. "

We got back at 10.50pm & bar lights were off but staff did serve us. Place lacked athmosphere. Room was fine - comfy bed & decent shower. Breakfast as very good -freshly cooked. "

"OH...MY....GOD !!! What an amazing little place. So cozy and comfortable. I was pleased enough when he showed me the bedroom. He said "There's a wee apartment upstairs" and left. I want upstairs...to find a spacious area, with a full kitchen, table to seat 6 and the comfiest sofa.....in the world. Fod is available in Moira, which is 5 mins down the road and has seveyeateries. I wish I could have stayed for the week."

"We could not have asked for a warmer welcome from Larry and Ann, the rooms were spotless with tea and coffee making facilities. We booked at the local pub for a meal, Larry offered to drive us down and pick us up if we wanted. The breakfast was delicious, at a time we were able to choose! We will definitely be staying again. "

"Appealing inn in village setting. Enjoyed a satisfying and beautifully prepared dinner after a long day on the road and sightseeing, and found our room a quiet and clean and restful retreat. The staff was uniformly excellent and made their American guests feel entirely welcome and at home. Our reasonably priced room was bit small, and the bed itself, a European double so itself a bit small for me, had a puffy mattress cover with rounded edges that forced one toward the middle- we found ourselves missing our firm queen bed at home. But this is nitpicking. It was a great experience. We would love to come back!"
