"This stay corrosponded with a 50th birthday we were invited to, and chose this accomodation as it was fairly close! We arrived, and no one answered the door, I then phoned, a very polite helpful gentleman let us in, and apologised profusely for not hearing the bell. I was upset at first, that my sister was on the ground floor, and I was on the top floor, but the gentleman carried up my case, I am 67 my sister 75! "Wonderful little independent hotel handy for our trip to Leicester. Booked two rooms - both comfortable and fine. Room 7 however had a large extractor fan right outside the window and was a little noisy. Only fault in an otherwise excellent stay with a fantastic optional breakfast. Particularly polite and helpful staff."

"Stayed here twice before. Nice hotel with parking included and easy self check in. Unfortunately room was boiling on arrival. No climate control so had to turn off radiator, open window & use room fan. Also there was long hair strands found around the bedroom & on the bed also on bathroom floor, which were definitely not ours and it is not very nice to see as proves room was not cleaned properly. Wasn’t asked when leaving if everything wa okay with my stay"

"Another lovely stay at The Link Hotel. First time having breakfast here, a great choice and good quality. My only problem was how cold it was in reception, dining area, corridors etc. They seemed to have the AC blowing out freezing cold air and had the radiators on. Apart from that it’s convenient, lots of parking and easily accessible by road. "

I came out of my room a couple of times just as men were coming out the gents which was a bit off putting. The room was clean and comfortable if a tiny bit dated.
