We booked seven rooms in total. Half of the rooms had a problem of some sort. Problems ranged from no blinds or curtains, hand railing in the restrooms being loose, sinks being plugged, lack of towels for multiple people, inconsistent house cleaning.

The location of the hotel is excellent. I was very dissatisfied with the lack of privacy resulting from the lack of sound insulation between adjacent rooms. A letter spelling out this issue is being sent to the hotel manager.

Everything is tiny. I could barely fit as a 5’6, 120 lb person. The room holds only enough space for the bed- even your suitcases won’t fit without you tripping over them. They have signage saying not to drink the sink water, yet no other water is provided unless you seek it out at the desk. No bottles in the room or anything. When we arrived at the stated check in time our room was still not ready and we had to wait for it for 30 more minutes. There was no air so it was horribly hot. The photos online make it look much nicer than it is.

First experience at this hotel and sad to report that it was overall poor. Very tired room (218) with stains on wall, carpet and chair. No hot water to shower. Telephone not working Irritated by request at reception for £50 deposit (not experienced this anywhere else)

It was so hot in our room. We had a window we were able to open and a small table fan for a little air circulation. We asked for another fan for the room and they said NO to us. The room have no AC and they need some updating. It was very bare bones. I would not stay there in the summer time.

Solo traveler so just went for a single room. Check in was fine, the room wasn't. Mold in the shower, water pressure was really bad, couldn't get the shampoo out of my hair so used the sink instead. The walls of the bedroom had water stains from leaks, damp patch and paint coming off the wall in serveral places. Never left milk for drinks, so had to go and get it, but kept taking towels when the sign says hang them up if you wanted to reuse, not very eco friendly. On check out, the customers in front got, how was your stay? What was your favourite thing you did? I didn't even get a hello, all he said was this is your void receipt.

Honestly I was a bit scared because of bad reviews but for the price I had an amazing experience, spacious room, helpful staff (24 hours), good location and yes it was dated and wasn’t the best looking room but I’d say great value for money.
