「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「If I could rate just staff and setting, it would be 6/5! Akram and Tuan were the pillars of hospitality and so kind. The setting and view of the hotel (the deck!) was unbelievable, as were the nearby Silver Sands. That said, I echo others in saying the price does not match the quality of the rooms. This hotel really is in need of renovation. The downstairs common area and dining room are lovely, so hopefully the rooms can eventually meet this standard. I’m really rooting for the Morar Hotel...
