"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. "Myself, my 11 year old and our young dog spent our October half term on the farm and had a very lovely and relaxing stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they respected our privacy and didn't mind that our dog was a bit excited by all the farm animals (all of whom had loads of character!) "We went out of season for a little break, & this was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble & the owners were so so lovely, friendly & very helpful. The warm & cosy little cottage was decorated beautifully & had everything you needed. (Plus a hot tub outside!) All in all a truly wonderful experience - our dog loved it too!!"

"We stayed for four nights. The very nice lady that owns the cottage, Nesta, had made cake for out arrival. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, downstairs a shower. Kitchen was very well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and there was a utility room with a freezer and washing machine. "We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."
