"Lovely staff and restaurant. Food and service in the restaurant was fabulous. The leisure area was lovely although half the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The walkways at night from the spa area need to be lit up as it was quite dangerous. Room was comfortable. Some shared areas look like they need refurbishment. "

"I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again. "

"Difficult one to award stars. The hotel itself, appearance and setting is fantastic. The service and quality of food was exceptional as was the value for money. The one thing that was a huge disappointment was the room. We stayed in room 12. The bed, I think, was installed when the hotel was built, it was so uncomfortable that neither of us slept for more than a couple of hours. "Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "

great place to stay

"2 night stay only. Check in easy at the main bar,, staff very helpful. Food was good and we ate there the first evening. WE were offered a free upgrade which was great and we will definately stay again when we are back in Wales. Beer was also great which was a bonus for my husband who likes real ale."
