"The receptionist was very helpful and the rooms and bathrooms were clean wet to this location being in a kind of dorm setup, which is commendable. Safe bag keeping post checkout another big point. Although urgent improvements on the ventilation is needed as when different people come in, the room kind of smells not due to cleanliness but coz of different kind of people who may come in. So this could be potentially improved. But certainly recommended for solo travellers."

"As an over hundred year old building, I think its condition is good enough. It is closed to Liverpool Central but on a quiet street. Suitable for weekend visit. People are friendly and helpful. I can tell some of the roommate stay there for long. They are working in the hostel and interact like family. However, as there is only one public toilet, it is difficult to manage cleanness. "When I arrived I was waiting for almost 30-45 minutes to check if I was aloud inside, I was left alone with no confirmation to allow me inside, The interior was in disrepair, wires could be seen hanging off the wall, the stairs carpets were barely holding together.And as soon as I entered the room I wanted to leave. The windows were broken and held open with toilet rolls, very untidy and the bathroom door was broken. Next time I wont bother...."

"This was an incredible place to stay. It was so nice to have an apartment style hotel room for a reasonable price. It is centrally located so we could walk to most destinations we wanted to visit in Liverpool. It was also quiet and had an amazing view. The staff were very helpful anytime we needed anything.
