"The hotel was great. It is a remote location and it was the middle of the winter, so I think we might have been the only people in the hotel. We chose it because we wanted to be near Thingvellir and Gullfoss. The service and food was was excellent and I would not hesitate to stay there again. There is a natural spa nearby too. "

"The property was nice, and we enjoyed the hot tub and the entrance from the hot tub to the bathroom. We felt there was good privacy, and the setting was nice for viewing the aurora (too bad we had heavy cloud cover while we were there). The property recommended a couple restaurants that were near-by and we loved Mika! "

"Cozy wooden cabins in a nice location and a delicious breakfast. One thing to note is that cabins are joined in a longer house and are thus not soundproof - we could hear our fellow travelers talking, snoring, using the bathroom etc. The farm is now building another series of such cabins - perhaps they can take note of this issue especially for bathrooms - not nice to have to listen to your neighbor urinating when you are enjoying a glass of prosecco after relaxing in a nearby spa (Fontana)"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the beautiful hotel remotely located in nature. It had a wonderful breakfast and staff were friendly. Accessibility: There are a series of a few small steps on the main floor which make it difficult when traveling with a stroller and luggage. There is a back door that is accessible with no stairs involved. It has access to the rooms located at the end of the hotel. Perhaps guests with children can request a room at the end near the back door."

"We spent 3 nights at this cottage for exploring parts of the Golden Circle. The cottage was a perfect home away from home. It had the necessary amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The dining and living room areas were a decent size for a family of 4-6 people. The bunk bed and pillows weren’t the most comfortable. "This property has a very nice, convenient restaurant with great food. The staff is very welcoming and the bar is open very late. They provided use of robes for the hot tub. The room was very clean and bigger than a few other places with a nice closet. The bathroom was spacious. We had our own door that led out to the hot tub area. The only room for improvement would have been that the key to the room does not unlock the door to the room from the hot tub area so you either have to prop the door open or find the door that leads into the hallway to get back to your room. Don’t leave your key in your room unless you prop the door open. There is some light pollution in this area from the local greenhouses. It was a great location to visit the Golden Circle and the Secret Lagoon. We would stay here again. "
