Independent Lake Meadows hotels

"The Congress Plaza Hotel is an obviously old building, but they have done their best to update it. The room and bed were comfortable, clean, and well organized. There are of course some parts of the hotel that have maintained the old nostalgic feeling, but I didn't find anything off-putting or overly concerning. Overall, a satisfactory stay!"

"This hotel is very close to everything downtown. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Great view of the city!"

"Room was clean and serviced well. There was construction on the main lobby so had to use an alternative entrance. Walls and ceilings are thin. We could hear one of the other rooms opening and closing their blinds and it sounded like someone trying to open our window. In the bathroom you could hear the neighboring bathroom. And we could hear a few of our neighbors talking but luckily everyone was fairly respectful and quiet during our stay. Easy to uber from and to and quick walk to magnificent...

"This place was perfect for the 2025 C2E2 convention! It was such a quick walk to everything. The place was clean, and safe! The price was right! And staff was fantastic. Don't hesitate, book that room. Beds were more firm then one would generally prefer, but the beds smelled clean, looked clean, and felt clean. "

"It is the vibe. The restaurants, lobby, rooms, rooftop. It’s all so stunning and delicious!!! We came with a kid for the first time and it was also perfect and so accommodating with a child. We love this hoxton so much!!! A must stay in Chicago for the best experience. "
