Reception staff could not have been friendlier and put up with our awful Italian and spoke perfect English to us. Nothing was too much effort and they were so helpful. "Everything about the hotel was excellent, comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Once we had worked out the train and bus (the staff explained which ones we needed for town) its situation which seemed far from town, did not seem so far! Breakfast was disappointing. "This hotel was located just steps away from the Colosseum. It has a nicely decorated lobby and sitting area. There was a breakfast buffet that offered lots of items to choose from - coffee, tea, juice, eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, etc. They also had a nice little cocktail bar. "This is a great basic hotel. The room was a good size, clean and looked refurbished with modern fixtures. Our room was a ski chalet theme. There was great communication from the hotel staff with inquiries and they were able to arrange for transport from the cruise port in Civitavecchia and to the airport. The location is great. Walking distance to many of the tourist attractions and close to many cafes and restaurants. It is only a 10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The only negative was that our room was not cleaned on our second day which left us over flowing garbage cans for 2 days. However, we would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was clean and nice. The only thing that could be difficult for some is that you have to kcrawl up on the bed from the foot o which could be difficult if you have mobility isdues. We loved the area with lots of close restaurants and we walked to all major sites. The rooftop bar was lovely!"
