"Good location, central but set back 1 street from the old port. Very easy access to the metro, tramway, and buses. Room was nice, had a fridge, microwave and cooker if you wanted to use them. AC didnt appear to be working however, and the bathroom was a bit dated. The hotel was undergoing renovations specifically for the bathrooms at the time though, so they may be refreshed in future. Would stay again."

"The hotel was exceptionally clean, which made my experience even more comfortable. The newly furnished rooms were stylish and cozy, providing a perfect space to relax. I also felt very safe throughout my stay, as the hotel is in a secure location with great service. The comfortable beds and well-maintained facilities made my stay even better. "Given the price point, we found this hotel to be good! Everyone on the staff we interacted with were very friendly, the location is right next to the central train station and the price was very affordable for this location. It could be cleaner and the street outside feels a little rough at night/early morning, but overall we enjoyed this Adagio."

It was across from the “Docks” which was wonderful to have so close - the (large) mall and museum was within walking distance as well as the cathedral. "Everything was great, the staff is amazing, so helpful and caring, they offer to keep your luggage before you ask (which is then stored in a secured room, for free). Kitchen in the room has every utensil you might need (I was really impressed). If needed you can work in the lobby, there are regular and USB plugs. Hotel is well located. Only thing to be aware if you're a light sleeper is that the vents on the windows cannot be closed so you do hear street noises as if the windows were slightly open (this is due to French legislation and not the hotel's fault. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Marseille."

"I have stayed in Toyoko Inn Hotels in Japan so I decided to try the one in France. I have to say they keep the good standards of Japan. Very clean, well located, good breakfast and freindly staff. My next trip to Marseille I Will book Toyoko Inn hotel for sure."

"Perfect location in the old port. Just a few steps from the metro station and several bus stops. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The internet was spotty. Locking the door using a physical key was a bit of a challenge at first. Hotel Carre Vieux Port was perfect for my short trip to Marseille. "

"What an amazing experience! The hotel is gorgeous and in an ideal location for walking and exploring old town. Our room was lovely and perfectly equipped. Our balcony and its view was a showstopper! I could not have enjoyed it more. The service at the hotel was outstanding - from the personal greetings to the extreme helpfulness. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and will always recommend to anyone traveling in the area. "
