We loved this hotel. It is extremely well located, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast was spectacular. The private ofuro baths are highly recommended. We will be back without a doubt. Best hotel I’ve stayed in a while
I highly recommend this hotel. Prime location with just 3 minutes walk to the Hokan-ji, 8 minutes to Kodaiji and Kiyomizu. Service was superb. Staff were very friendly and they really tried their best to make you feel like home. Haven’t experienced this level of great hospitality in a long while. The hotel itself is also like a beautiful artpiece with contemporary interior while reserving the heritage and history (it’s converted from a school). 10/10 hands down

We had such a wonderful stay in this hotel. The balcony was so spacious with a lovely view of the Toji temple. The staff is wonderful & they made our stay enjoyable. And to top it off, we were treated to a fantastic performance by the Geikos right in the hotel. It was a truly unforgettable experience, especially being able to take pictures of them.
