"The walk to the hotel from the Kusatsu bus station is not a mere 8-10mins or so, esp with luggage in tow and that it’s a bit steep to get to this hotel. Definitely not for older folks!! Great area to visit. It would have been nice to have mixed baths for partners to enjoy. Sulfur smell is also not for everyone as to me it smells close to sewage waters. Nonetheless. Clean and enjoyable experience for my second onsen village I visited
